Sub-Processors
Last updated: 27 August 2026
When Animus builds and operates AI workflows on your behalf, we act as a data processor under our Data Processing Agreement. We use the following vetted sub-processors to deliver the service. Which of them touch your data depends on the systems you connect and the workflows we build — the scope is agreed in writing during onboarding.
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic, PBC | AI model inference — processes workflow content to generate outputs. API inputs are not used to train models; retained for approximately 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deleted. | USA |
| DigitalOcean | Cloud infrastructure — dedicated per-client servers and encrypted backups. No client shares infrastructure with another. | United Kingdom (London) |
| Composio | Managed integration authentication — securely holds the OAuth tokens for systems you connect (e.g. Gmail, your CRM). We never see or store your passwords. | USA |
| Google (Workspace) | Business email and calendar, where connected as part of your workflows. | USA / EU |
| Slack | Operational notifications and human approval requests for gated workflow actions. | USA / EU |
| Cal.com | Meeting scheduling, where scheduling workflows are part of your engagement. | USA / EU |
| Cloudflare | DNS and network security for service endpoints. | Global |
| Grafana Labs | System logs and operational monitoring — infrastructure telemetry, not your business content. | EU / USA |
International transfers
Client workloads and backups stay in the United Kingdom. Where a sub-processor involves a transfer outside the UK (for example, AI inference in the USA), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the recipient’s participation in an approved framework, as applicable.
Changes to this list
We will notify clients before adding a sub-processor that processes their data, as set out in the Data Processing Agreement. Questions about any provider on this list? Email team@tryanimus.com.
